Director

The director of the SUJCHBO was appointed Stanislav Brádka, M.D. on 15th June 2007 by the chairwoman of the State Office for Nuclear Safety.
The director is a statutory body and takes decisions on any matters of the public research institution, unless entrusted to the competence of the Board, the Supervisory Board or its founder by Act No. 341/2005 Coll.

 

reditelStanislav Brádka, M.D. was born on 14th July 1949 in Prague. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Hygiene of the Charles University, Prague (1974). He passed the first –degree postgraduate study in hygiene and epidemiology in 1979, and he finished his second-degree postgraduate study in occupational hygiene and occupational diseases in 1983.  
After his graduation he took up a job of a doctor – hygienist in the Works National Health Institute of Uranium-Mining Industry, The Institute of Occupational Hygiene in Uranium-Mining Industry in Příbram where he held several posts until 1986 when he was appointed the director of the aforementioned Institute. After the organisational changes – the foundation of the Institute for Certified Testing and Solution of Emergency Situations and subsequently its transformation to the National Institute for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection – he hold a position of their directors. He was appointed the director of the National Institute for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection, public research institution in 2007.
In his hygiene service, he addressed the questions of physiology of work and the impact of microclimate and workload on health condition.
He is currently engaged in the programs of the protection against CBRN, including the related research activities.
He is a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Safety Engineering in Vysoká škola báňská – Technical University, Ostrava.
